Montreal Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher and his now-wife Emma Fortin got married last weekend in Montreal, and plenty of his teammates were in attendance.

The wedding, which appears to have taken place at Maison Principale, came a year after the couple got engaged during a hike in British Columbia.

Gallagher previously credited Fortin, who is from Ste-Julie on Montreal’s south shore, with helping him through the injury recovery process in recent years. He also told The Gazette that her family has been helping him learn French.

The nuptials served as an offseason gathering of current and former Habs, with Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Christian Dvorak, Jake Evans, Sam Montembeault and Jeff Petry in attendance. Even Carey Price, who sold his home on Montreal’s South Shore and moved back to B.C. months ago, was there.

Julie Petry, whose husband last played for the Canadiens in 2022, described it as “the best reunion with some of our favourite people.”
